PVC Coated/Galvanized Stone Filled Gabion is PVC coatings on zinc-coated metal wire fabric containers with variable sizes that fill rocks to form permanent structures. Green gabion mattress (Fibromat is also called gabion mattress system) is a great soil stabilization system, which can be used for slope erosion control, toe and river bank protection, to maximize the permeability of the structure, while providing reinforcement and grassland construction.
PVC Coated/Galvanized Stone Filled Gabions are used as retaining walls to provide various prevention and protection projects, such as landslide prevention, erosion and erosion protection, as well as hydraulic and coastal protection for various types of rivers, seas and river courses. This gabion mattress system is made of a specially designed composite material, which maximizes its performance through a three-stage vegetation process from non-vegetation to vegetation establishment to vegetation maturation.
Gabions offer excellent protection as soil stabilizers around bridges, bridge piers and abutment slopes. Stone Filled Gabion Box Applications:
●Control and guide rivers and floods
The most serious disaster of rivers is the destruction of river banks by water, which caused flooding, resulting in massive losses of lives and properties and massive soil erosion. The application of the ecological gabion net structure can permanently protect the river bed and bank.
●Channel canal bed
The construction of the channel involves the stability of the slope and river bed. It can effectively and permanently protect the river bank or riverbed, control the flow of water, prevent water loss, and has excellent effects in environmental protection and water quality maintenance.
●Slope protection
The application of ecological grid structure to river bank protection and slope toe protection is a very successful example. It gives full play to the advantages of ecological grid and achieves the ideal effect that other methods cannot achieve.

Stone Filled Gabion Box Installation Process:
1. Ends,diaphragms,front and back panels are placed upright on the bottom section of wire mesh
2. Secure panels by screwing sprial binders through the mesh openings in adjacent panels
3. Stiffeners shall be placed across the corners, at 300mm from the corner. Providing a diagonal bracing,and crimped
4. Box gabion filled with graded stone by hand or with a shovel.
5. After filling,close the lid and secure with sprial binders at the diaphragms,ends,front and back.
6. When stacking tiers of the weled gabion,the lid of the lower tier may serve as base of the upper tier.Secure with sprial binders and add pre-formed stiffeners to exterior cells before filling with graded stones.
